I enjoyed this one – I think it appealed to the creative side of me. The biggest challenge was trying to convey meaning simply through visual images i.e. without lots of text to explain. I opted for the Bubbleshare format because the slideshow example looked very bold and uncluttered, but I may also have a go with the Pikistrips format as I can see that being good for a quick summary resource or revision guide. When I embedded the slideshow in the wiki page, sometimes is showed an error message, “Error loading images” but this was usually corrected after reloading the page. Maybe it’s just because of the internet traffic while I’m doing this, but I don’t want to have lots of dud stuff on my pages – I probably have issues with being dependent on another service.
Anyway, the director’s cut of “Your Genes & You” can be seen here.

I like the “Your Genes & You” images — very creative. Fun for use in biology and science classes.
